My
expertise is built on over twenty-five years of
senior management experience as an executive in both for-profit corporations
and nonprofit organizations. Since
2001 I have worked as a hands-on advisor to small businesses
and nonprofits in need of planning and professional management, with
particular attention to the practical issues of implementation, including
operational challenges and integration with strategic plans. |

Prior
to offering consulting services, I was General Manager for Weight Watchers of
New Jersey for ten years, responsible for all aspects of the company’s
operations and profitability, including the creation and implementation of
highly successful strategic and business plans. I’m
familiar with the management of family-owned businesses, franchises, and
start-up companies as well. In
the nonprofit sector I’ve held executive positions as District Director for
the Muscular Dystrophy Association; Vice President of Development for the
American Heart Association, New Jersey Affiliate; and Vice President of
Resource Development for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. I
have also worked as a zookeeper. My
graduate work includes a Masters in Organizational Dynamics from the I
am an accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business and
certified by the Entrepreneurial Training Institute of
the NJ Economic Development Authority as a facilitator for small business
planning, and I am a member of the NJ Nonprofit Consultants Collaborative. |
